 On 28 July this year the Welsh Mets Association
celebrated ten years of the founding of the association, and on Thursday
9 July we held a celebration lunch at the Diplomat Hotel, LIanelli. A
total of 49 members and their guests were present at the lunch which was
attended by Dave and Janise Richards, our President and his wife.
Dave was presented with an inscribed commemorative plate,
thanking him for the founding of the association and for his continued
support. Each member at the lunch was also presented with a plate. It was
good to see Bob Baker who was the first Secretary of the association with
us to celebrate our tenth anniversary.
There were many others at the lunch who have been members of the
association since that first get together in July 2000.
